Chorebus (Stiphrocera) hexomyzae sp. n. (Hymenoptera, Braconidae, Alysiinae, Dacnusini) is described and illustrated. It was reared from twig galls of Hexomyza caraganae Gu (Diptera, Agromyzidae) on Caragana korshinskii Kom. f. (Fabaceae) in Ningxia and Inner Mongolia (NW China). A partial key to related or similar Chorebus species is provided.

Foram coletados 2 630 parasìtóides de Anastrephaspp., pertencentes a cinco espécies de Braconidae, em quatro locais de dois municípios do Estado do Amazonas. Optussp. foi a espécie predominante no estudo, ocorrendo com maior freqüência na área urbana de Manaus. Doryctobracon areolatus(Szépligeti, 1911) foi a espécie predominante nas áreas rurais. As comunidades foram delimitadas e caracterizadas através de índices faunísticos. As comunidades apresentaram quocientes de similaridade entre 82 e 100%.

Bobekoides gen. nov. (Hymenoptera: Braconidae: Alysiinae) from South Africa

A new genus of the subfamily Alysiinae (Braconidae) is reported from South Africa (Bobekoides gen. nov.; type species: Bobekoides fulvus spec. nov.), illustrated, and described. A key to the species is added. The new genus is closely related to the East Palaearctic genus Hylcalosia Fischer, 1967.

The genus Atopandrium Graham, 1952 (Alysiinae: Alysiini) is synonymized with Aphaereta Foerster, 1862, Wachsmannia Szépligeti, (September) 1900 (Doryctinae: Doryctini) with Hypodoryctes Kokujev, (August) 1900, and Promachus Cresson, 1887 nec Loew, 1848 (Cenocoeliinae) with Cenocoelius Haliday, 1840. Atopandrium loripenne Graham, 1952, and Trisynaldis conflucta Fischer, 1958, are synonymized with Aphaereta debilitata Morley, 1933. Aphaereta palea (Papp, 1990), Hypodoryctes spathiiformis (Ratzeburg, 1848), and Cenocoelius aartseni (van Achterberg, 1994) are new combinations. A lectotype is designated for Aphaereta debilitata Morley, 1933.

Foram coletados 3.008 braconídeos em larvas/pupas de moscas-das-frutas em 26 espécies de frutos, distribuídos em 33 municípios paulistas. A maioria dos braconídeos pertencia a Opiinae (96,2%), representada por quatro espécies - Doryctobracon areolatus (Szépligeti), Doryctobracon brasiliensis (Szépligeti), Opius bellus (Gahan) e Utetes anastrephae (Viereck) - e os demais a Alysiinae (3,8%), representada apenas por Asobara anastrephae (Muesebeck). Doryctobracon areolatus foi atraída por mais frutos hospedeiros de moscas-das-frutas (26) e ocorreu na maioria dos municípios amostrados, totalizando 77,5% dos parasitóides coletados. Phaenocarpa helophilae spec. nov. (Hymenoptera: Braconidae), a gregarious parasitoid of Helophilus larvae (Diptera: Syrphidae), with notes on related species

For the first time a gregarious parasitoid belonging to the genus Phaenocarpa Foerster, 1862 (Braconidae: Alysiinae) is reported, and described as P. helophilae spec. nov. from England. The first record of Chloropidae as host for a Phaenocarpa species is given; P. livida (Haliday, 1838) reared from Calamoncosis (Rhaphiopyga) glyceriae Nartshuk, 1958. Sathra debilis Foerster, 1862, is synonymised with P. livida (Haliday). Additionally, Phaenocarpa curticauda spec. nov. from The Netherlands is described and fully illustrated. A lectotype is designated for Alysia pectoralis Zetterstedt, 1838, and Phaenocarpa rufoflava Papp, 1968, is recognised as a valid species.

The following new combination is proposed: Dapsilarthra eurys (Chen & Wu, 1994), comb. n. Adelurola amplidens (Fischer, 1966) and A. asiatica Telenga, 1935 are recorded for the first time from Iran and Kyrgyzstan, respectively.
